Our first time staying at Will O the Wisp and it won’t be our last! Location was perfect to all sorts of attractions and activities. Room was comfy and cozy.

I loved waking up to the lake views and enjoying the balcony at night! Our kids loved the toys available and built some fun Lincoln log houses. The pool was great after a day spent on the beach and boat. The place was so clean and loved the tasteful decor. We'll be back soon!

509G was wonderful! Everything was well maintained and clean. The beds were comfy with extra pillows and blankets if needed. The xBox was a nice touch had we had our grandson on this trip. The only suggestion I might have is that there could be a smaller table to allow for an extra chair or recliner in the living room area. Highly suggest this unit!

Love to be able to walk to the Deep Creek Dunk each year. Love the pool and hot tub. Love the view of the Lake from each room.

Cozy Winter Stay with Beautiful Lake Views

Really enjoyed our stay here in the winter. The condo feels recently updated and was very clean and comfortable. The lake view from the balcony was beautiful and let so much light in. The kids loved the indoor pool and the short drive to Wisp and other spots around Deep Creek, which made it easy to get around. We didn’t get to check out the beach because of the weather, but it looks like it would be great during the warmer months. Would happily stay here again.

We had an overall positive stay in Deep Creek. The staff members were incredibly nice throughout our visit, and the restaurants were great. However, an issue on our balcony put a damper on our time outdoors. There was an active wasp or hornet nest inside the balcony electrical fixture, which made it impossible to relax outside without worrying about getting stung after just a few minutes. We reported the problem on Sunday, but maintenance never came out to resolve it during our stay. While the service and dining were wonderful, not being able to use the balcony properly detracted from the experience.Please establish an on-call maintenance procedure for weekend reports of pest and safety issues. Routine pre-check-in inspections of outdoor balcony fixtures would help catch and clear nests before guests arrive. When a guest reports an active safety concern like stinging insects, staff should either dispatch maintenance promptly or offer an alternative accommodation so the outdoor space can be fully enjoyed.
